To end the Trump Administration’s and Republican Congress’s reckless assault on our values, democracy, and government, and protect against future damaging actions, we need to substantially reform our governing practices and institutions, and eliminate the excessive and corrupting influence that money, wealth, and disinformation have over our politics and government.

Having grown up in a working-class family in Maine, David knows what it’s like to have to work hard to pay bills and get ahead.

David knows first-hand how important Social Security is and why it, and Medicare, must be strengthened for seniors and families in Maine.

To grow our economy in ways that enhances everyone’s career opportunities and overall prosperity, we need to implement a wide range of smarter investment, trade, labor, tax and wage policies.

To ensure the health and prosperity of all Mainers, we need to address our growing climate crisis and better protect Maine’s extremely valuable environment and natural resources.

Mainers, as it should be for all Americans, have the right to be protected from crime and discrimination of any kind.

Global trade, strategic alliances, and diplomacy matters. David is the only candidate for the U.S. Senate from Maine who has worked closely with American and allied militaries and diplomats overseas as a foreign aid officer.
